Adding a Fixed Asset

1: Add a New Fixed Asset

Click the Add New… function on the dashboard and select Fixed Asset from the list of options.

Best Practice: When you habitually link fixed assets to work orders and scheduled work orders, TheWorxHub automatically builds a record of maintenance carried out on each asset, including labor time and who did the work.

2: Enter Asset Information

Use the Location Finder to choose a location for the new asset. Add a brief description of the asset in the Description field and choose a category and subcategory for the asset from the available pick lists.

3: Enter Additional Information

Enter as much additional detail as possible about the asset in the available fields on the New Fixed Asset form, then click Save.

Note: Entering comprehensive data about each new asset allows TheWorxHub to manage and report on assets much more effectively.
